For great lengths of time I had been on the search for an Australian Hosted VPS solution that is both affordable, resource giving, and contactable. A some what of an expected oxymoron afterall. Through an active discussion with a work colleague about my unfortunate findings, he pointed me towards Exigent. My long search comes to an end.
I was instantly impressed by the low price solutions provided, however I still had a few questions regarding their service; so I took to the emails! And within half an hour, had recieved my answers!
Even now, months into my service with Exigent, I have found their support system to be a pleasure to work with as I receive replies to my support queries with amazing speed; being either at the break of dawn at 7 - 8am, or when I'm kicking back some cold ones at 9-10pm at night.
Their overall up time has been close to flawless with only the odd hour here or there for scheduled maintenance at the early hours of the morning.
Overall I've finally found a service that suits the exact requirements of my practices, and plan on staying with Exigent now and into the future.

I've only had a VPS service for 3 months, but it's the best so far.
Not only are the resources provided generous, and the best I found while looking around, the cheap upgrades provided the perfect server for what I needed it for. The service team replied within 30 minutes, after hours, for an unmanaged service (which I had never seen before), and was even kind enough to go out of their way to give me more dedicated ram because of a discrepancy in the product information.
Needless to say I was ecstatic. Two months on and I've gotten enough traffic to expand my service, and have upgraded. There has been absolutely no problem that hasn't been solved by the support team, all of which have been sale glitches, and the server is extremely reliable.
In conclusion, Exigent are the best Australian virtual server hosting company out there. I'm not joking, stretching the truth, lying, or being paid to say this. The best.

I came across Exigent with absolutely no idea what I was doing and what I even needed, I got into a Live Chat with support expecting to ask a few questions and be on my way. Two and a half hours later, he had answered all my questions and even walked me through the sign up stage, every step of the way without a second thought. Needless to say, I had a whole lot more questions to give him as I was getting acquainted with my new VPS, even answering tickets within half an hour at eleven thirty (11:30PM) at night.
Eventually (with the help of the support team) I got comfortable with my ability to manage a VPS and decided to take the plunge into upgrading to a VDS. Instead of having to cancel my VPS subscription and purchase a new VDS one, the accounts team were happy to roll my fees into my new server... all within the same afternoon!
I've been buying products and services off the Internet for a while now, cheap prices with rude customer support, late deliveries and money going missing. So of course, I was very cautious of forking out money on a VPS.
Exigent did more than exceed my expectations, they completely blew them out of the water. I will be recommending Exigent to any person I know that needs anything from a domain name to a full VDS.

For the past few months I have had my VPS service hosted with Exigent. After months of searching for a company that could actually suit my requirements and also for a company that was within my price-range, I was told to try Exigent by a friend!
Exigent have been helpful from day dot. The first contact I had with them was a pleasure and I was surprised to see a reply within half an hour (going by previous experience with other companies). At the time Exigent had sold out of their VPS servers and I had to wait almost a week. It was without a doubt worth the wait.
The service provided has been fast & reliable plus I know that if I need assistance or would like to upgrade I can easily contact Exigent. I would (and have) recommended Exigent to others and haven't had a problem

I had been jumping between VPS providers for a good two years, they all seemed good at the time but they all lacked speed and support. Exigent came out of nowhere and was exactly what I was looking. Great for plans that suit a web designer / developer while being affordable and not breaking the bank every month.
There is three things I look for in a hosting solution - great support, hardware & uptime/reliability. Exigent does all 3 like real professional hosting companies do and they continue to surprise me with their new deals each month.
They always notify me any expected outages and if there is an unscheduled outage, we're notified pretty much straight away.
Exigent is comparable to major competitors out there. They strive to provide you with the best hosting solution you can buy for your money.

I received an urgent call from a client telling me their email service was down. I was in the middle of a busy Sydney airport about to leave for a holiday. With only two hours until my flight, time was very valuable.
My old VPS providers entire node had crashed due to a disk failure and I was left with only a pile of backups. I needed a new VPS set up quick.
I had heard about Exigent previously in a forum and decided to have a look. The first thing I noticed about the website was a very prominent "Call us" and contact number. It was very comforting to know that I could talk to a real person on the phone. The prices on the plans were unbelievable. Easily the best in Australia.
I ordered a brand new VPS from Exigent and in under a minute I had received an email with my fully functional VPS's with details such as my login, IP address, etc. Within an hour, I had a new email server up and running.
Now over a month later, my old VPS provider still hasn't fixed their node and due to them not having a contact number like Exigent, I can't even get a hold of them. I loved Exigent's quick setup time and it was a real life saver.
